Welcome to StarSwap of Astar Network. The first DEX with NFT Governance and NFT Staking.

What is StarSwap?

Star Swap is an easy to use community-focused defi platform that's native to Astar Network. We created the platform with an intention to bring something original to Astar Network. Even though it is just another standard DEX, how it works makes all the difference. We are the first platform (and currently the only platform) that's being governed with the NFT tech, giving NFTs the utility it's built for instead of just being a collectors item.

What is NFT Governance?

StarSwap is the first DEX with NFT governance. The collection (StarCards more details in the next page) that's launching prior to the DEX deployment will govern the DEX and the collectors (owners of the NFTs) enjoy 100% of the platform fees (trading fees from transactions).

What is NFT Staking?

NFT Projects on the Astar Network, can apply for 'nft staking' on StarSwap and the community of StarCards NFT holders will vote and decide on it. Once approved, collectors of that NFT project can stake their tokens on StarSwap's NFT staking platform and earn Star tokens. Anyone with a certain amount of of Star tokens can stake the tokens and apply for NFT staking for a project.

Why build on AstarNetwork?

Well, we want to give our users an incredible DeFi experience. That's the reason StarSwap is built on Astar Network, the fastest growing blockchain on the entire Polkadot ecosystem. Astar Network is getting massive popularity with its low transaction fees and superfast transaction confirmations.

Please note that none of this is financial advice. You should do your due diligence to become an informed investor by doing your own research, coming to your own conclusions, and taking note of the risks and responsibilities associated with using StarSwap.

DeFi is still a new technology that's evolving day by day. We all try to do our best to bring you the most secure platforms - but as in any new technology there could be errors. Please be aware of that. Never invest more than what you can afford to lose.

We are available on Twitter and Discord to answer any of your questions, so please reach out if your question is not answered here.
